Barn Dance and hog roast - Nadine (18th Apr 2014 - 08:58:36) If anyone is interested, we are having a Barn Dance and Hog Roast, here in the village in June. We are doing 2 nights...so you can choose either the Friday or the Saturday, the 6th and 7th June, from 7.30. The tickets are £30 each, to include the hog roast and first drink. We have a great band called The Woodsiders, and a caller - so it doesn't matter if you don't know what to do...many of us won't! We are clearing out a barn here, throwing a few hay bales around (along with some gingham bunting) and going to dance the night away. The ticket sales and raffle funds and all money raised, will go to Women V Cancer, who support Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, Ovarian Cancer Trust and Breast Cancer Care. Please do come and join us...it should be a really fun night. And if the weather is good, that will be a bonus. Don't want to be in the Daily Mail, having had thousands of gate crashers turn up, trashing my house. Just being cautious!
