Picnic on the Green
- Liphook in Bloom (1st May 2024 - 20:06:38)

Liphook in Bloom will be at the Picnic on the Green this Sunday 5th May from 12pm onwards. Please come and see us. We will have sunflower plants to give away to those who would like to take part in our Sunflower Competition... come and find out all about it. We'd also love to see Liphook blooming with a sunflower in every garden - a big ambition, but it's possible - please take part. 🌻🌻🌻

The Liphook horticultural society will be at the picnic with a plant stall selling loads of veg, herbs, fruit, shrubs and flowers. Last years stall was a great success and the proceeds went towards getting even better speakers for the society. For the greatest choice come early, we will be ready for customers from12.00. Fingers crossed for dry weather, although if it pours we will be inside the main hall..

Thank you for organising this! I did go to the last one, and it was absolutely brilliant to see neighbours who may not always meet up having a great time and chat together.

It's a fantastic event, fingers crossed for the weather and I will definitely make the effort and encourage others to do so!

The good news is that the event will still go ahead in the Millennium Hall if the weather is not good

Hi,
Very often there is great apathy to Liphook events by residents, and to volunteers.
This Picnic on the Green, showed our village can put on a great show, enjoyed by locals, and children.
