Welcome to the official Liphook Carnival website.

What a fabulous night!! The atmosphere was electric on the Longmoor Road just before we kicked off the procession this year, with everyone chatting and laughing and soaking up the community spirit (as well as a few other kinds of spirit!!). And weren't we lucky with the weather?!
The standard of every float exceeded all previous years, the imagination, the skill and the sheer hard work that people put into producing their floats is amazing. We hope that you enjoyed the evening as much as we all did and we look forward to seeing you the night the clocks go back next year!

I would like to say a big thank you to the Carnival Committee and to the many other volunteers who came along this year, and played their part in the preparation and the clearing up.

What’s it all about?
How did Liphook come to have a carnival? Read on to understand the history and share the tale with the new generation.
What happens on the day?
On carnival day you can enjoy the community sprit and participate in lots of activities. It’s not just an evening event, during the day take part in the children’s fancy dress, browse the craft stalls or just relax with homemade refreshments at Bohunt School. See 'Schedule' for more information.
